Q. How expensive are the systems?

A. Depending on how many collectors your home will require, the systems vary in cost, but A typical system costs between $8,000 and $10,000, before federal and state tax credits.

Q. What are the tax credits?

A. The Federal Government is now offering a Federal tax credit of 30% of the cost of your system. Here in New York, there is also a State tax credit that is offered, which also pays up to 25% of the cost of your system. Click on the link for an overview of current incentives HERE.
